Strengths: none
Weakness: none
Do not buy! I purchased in 1996 after it had been recalled . I kept getting the 3E error code for the last month. Called the Maytag repair man and paid him $75 to tell me it was an electrical problem and it would cost $500 to repair. Buyer beware!
They also recommend that you leave the door open so the washer doesn't get a mildew smell and wipe down the inside of the door.

DO NOT PURCHASE MAYTAG APPLIANCES

Maytag does an excellent job of marketing their products. Especially enticing is the lonely old Maytag Repairman. Believe me, he doesn't exist for the new appliances. You will spend lots of dollars on control boards with the refrigerators, dishwashers and Neptune series of appliances. It is not worth the high price. You are better off avoiding Maytag at all costs!
