Terrible Design
Strengths: None - No strengths at all.
Weakness: HEPA filter clogs extremely easy and stops. This causes the suction power to decrease dramatically.
We have a very clean home with one cat. The hair and dust clogs the filter and causes it to stop spinning. This spinning feature is the "self-cleaning" feature the HEPA filter has. Unfortunately when it stops spinning the filter clogs and the suction power decreases. Horrible design

Weakness: blows out dirt from the front creating dust everywhere, filter wheel does not self clean but gets clogged with dirt which falls out all over when you empty the dirt canister, looses suction
This is the worst vacuum cleaner I've ever seen and I'm suprised that Hoover would market such a flawed design. The extra long hose and nozzle were great selling points, as was the supposedly self cleaning filter, but I would never buy a bagless or windtunnel machine again after this experience. Used it once and returned it.

This is the most poorly designed machine I have ever seen. It is continually clogging both filters and the hepa filter becomes filled with dirt quickly causing loss of all suction. I replaced it with the dyson dc17, which is awesome. Do not buy this vacuum.

This is the most stupid design ever!!!!!!!! I can't believe it's still on the market!! It only shaves my carpet, not suck up anything, and also makes big mess too. My 10 years old traditional sweeper works sooo much better than this expensive piece of junk.
HEPA filter clogs

From early on I had a problem with the self-cleaning HEPA filter clogging. The long story short is when its working it is very powerful...but its never working because the suction is cut off due to the self-cleaning HEPA filter clogging...non-stop. And cleaning it makes an utter mess. Very disappointed... As a man I wanted more power...and I didn't get it with this thing :(
Worst product ever
Strengths: If it works, it works well
Weakness: Poor quality build, parts continually breaking, have to clean the filter continuosly.
First the stepper motor for the hepa filter stopped working. The self cleaning function was affected. Then the suction direction plate that allows the handle to be used independently got stuck. The hepa filter jams every time we use the machine and everything has to be taken apart to clean it out. The last thing to break was the handle.
