Strengths: Excellent suction. Pick up hairs well on all kinds of surfaces. Easy to clean.
Weakness: Cord management is not ideal.
Bought this vacuum based on some reviews on the web and has been amazed by how good it is. I've tried several vacuums in the past and none of them performed well. Some didn't have enough suctions and some overheated easily. This vacuum does it all. It has great suction, picks up hair and dust that other vacuums couldn't, and very easy to clean up. The first time I used this vacuum it picked up so...
Strengths: Great suctions, suction meter, various attachments, brush on/off control
Weakness: Loud, a bit heavy, dust container may spill, brush control hard to switch
I did a lot of research before I purchase this vacuum since my old vacuum that still using bag has lost its suction. This probably the best vacuum for the money, it's bagless design so you don't have to buy bags anymore. Moreover, it employs a dual-cyclone technology like what they use in early dyson vacuum. I used this vacuum after I clean my house with my old vacuum cleaner. I cannot believe...
Strengths: Excellent suction, great design, attractive, easy to use, works on all floors, attachments excellent
Weakness: None
I recently hires a company to clean my carpets in my house. After the company cleaned the carpets I thought maybe I didn't need to clean them for a couple of weeks. Well three days later I used my new Bissell Total Floor Vacuum and to my amazement it sucked up lots of real fine dust that I never know my carpet had. I am very impressed by this little machine. My boss has one as well and he has no...
Strengths: Dual-cyclonic technology keeps air filters from clogging up (Bagless design); On/Off switch for rotating brush unit (good for carpet/bare floor cleaning); Height adjustment for different floor surface;
Weakness: Pre-motor foam filter not sufficient to stop dust particles to get to motor. Kind of heavy - 24 lb. HEPA filter not washable.
- Some of the common features: 15" Wide Path Cleaning; 35' power cord; 14' stretch hose. - Installation is easy and intuitive. - Dual cyclonic and bagless design not only saves money but keeps most of the bigger particles from getting to the motor/filters and hence the machine can maintain full airflow and suction for a long time. - Pre-motor foam filter is washable, so regular maintenance will...
Strengths: HEPA Filter, Price, Motor, Brushless Option for Bare Floors
Weakness: Lack of secondary Filter to protect Motor
This unit uses true Dual Cyclone technology to help remove even the finest particles from the air. The motor is very good and not too loud. The HEPA filter life can be extended by adding a second filter beneath the foam filter that lies over the motor. A good 3M home furnace fine particle filter cut to size will triple the life of the post motor HEPA filter. If you have not used a True Dual or...
Strengths: This vacuum uses the cyclonic technology originally found on the Dyson vacuums, and offers a lot of value for the money. Suction is great, and it remains constant over time with little maintenance.
Weakness: It's big and heavy, but ok because it seems to be self propelled. Some may like the foot-operated height adjustment, but I think that a simple knob would work better.
Being able to turn off the brush roll is a big plus, especially combined with the scattershield feature for bare floors. It's also relatively quiet compared to previous vacuums I've owned. The unit is prone to tipping over when using the hand attachments or hose, though, so make sure you don't put it at the top of the stairs when you do this.
Strengths: great continuous suction, bagless, long power cord, lightweight yet sturdy, glides effortless, turbo brush attachment great for pet hair, brush bar can be turned off
Weakness: dust bin needs to be removed outside so that dust doesn't go everywhere. would be great to have a retractable cord
I didn't realize that I lived in such filth until after using this vacuum. Using multi-cyclonic technology (2 cyclones in this case...older Dyson technology), its cleaning power is incredible and it glides over the carpet as if self-propelled. After just vacuuming the hallway, the dust bin was halfway full. Just for fun, I used my old (5 yrs or so) Hoover in one room, then went over it with the...
Strengths: Incredible filtering and dual-cyclonic suction power capture dirt, dust, and allergens very effectively, making the house feel totally clean and fresh.
Weakness: The unit is a bit heavy, but manageable since it's self-propelled.
Offers a total cleaning solution with a long list of features and modes of use. About the same in performance and quality as the popular Dyson brand, but at a fraction of the cost. I did a ton of research before purchasing this and would highly recommend it over anything else in the market. It has definitely lived up to all the great reviews, and I've yet to find any serious drawbacks.
Decent Vacuum for the Price
Strengths: This vacuum seems a fairly solid value for the price. It has the 2X cyclonic technology and has good suction power.
Weakness: All plastic construction and it's fairly heavy.
This vacuum was bought to replace a previous 4.5yr old Bissell Cleanview. The features that you get are fairly decent, considering the price (about $130.) It has a standard small brush and crevice tool and a small rotating brush attachment. Assembly was fairly easy if you've done it before and study the pictures a bit. The cord is decently long (~35ft) and it gets wrapped near the top of the...
