Bissell Healthy Home 5770 Vacuum

I love the Healthy Home 5770!

Strengths: Great Suction! Really freshens the air as you vacuum. Easy to control with fingertip buttons for the power and brush on/off.

Weakness: The dust cup tapers in so you have to bump it to knock out the waste. The cyclonic action creates a "hairball" with pet hair that needs to be pulled out of the dust cup after all the dirt falls out.

I did not find this vacuum heavy to use at all. Maybe if you had to carry it upstairs, but I have a ranch-style home, so I don't have to worry about that. I cannot believe how much dirt, dust, and pet hair came out of my carpets, couches, and throw pillows. I have three indoor dogs and a cat, so this is a constant problem. Excellent vacuum thus far

Strengths: strong suction, several useful onboard attachments, can turn off brush for hard floors, canister means no bags to replace.

Weakness: vacuum gets pulled when doing stairs.

I've been using this vacuum for several months and have been extremely pleased thus far. The attachments are useful, the hose is long enough, it has a nice long cord, and I can use it on all of my hard floors and carpet alike. Wow! Great Vac!

Strengths: Does a fabulous job on embedded dirt on carpet; as well as pet hair on all surfaces. The difference is immediately noticeable.

Weakness: Heavy, a bit hard to push on thick carpet.

Overall, would recommend this unit. Affordable, well built, sturdy. Does an excellent job. Very good suction with the tools, also. I wonder how long it has been since my old vac has been working properly...?

Weakness: weight

After researching various brands and looking for a reasonable price point (unlike the overpriced Dysons), I took one look at the Bissel Healthy Home and fell in love. It's a great looking machine and does everything I wanted--without the astronomical price!

Good and Easy

Strengths: Easy to clean and performs well

Weakness: Little noisy

The product performs well as promised. Dirt cleaning is very easy with not much mess. The only issue is with the noise which is little loud. Good attachments and pretty long cord to reach long distances.

Healthy Home has got the power!

Strengths: It's got the power! Much quieter than I had imagined it would be. Not as heavy as I thought it would be. Its good cleaning rugs is undeniable. Comfortable blue color.

Weakness: Emptying out the canister is a very dirty experience for me. I had expected the plug to be a three plug instead of the flimsy two which often gets pulled out of the wall socket during vacuuming.

I appraise its worth as $150 as some have gotten it for with the HH rebate. If I had the time I would have held out for the pink Dyson from Target for just $50 dollars more. I question the longevity of the product. How much can this blue hard plastic take? If it lasts over 10 years like my last vacuum I will be happy with purchase. Only time can tell the value of this product.

Strengths: The Bissell 5770 has all the the features one could ask for in a vacuum such as non stop suction,on board easy access tools and can be used on any surface.

Weakness: I really can not find anything I dislike other than the weight, which can be a problem if you need to lift it.

I highly recommend this vacuum because of its great looking design,long electrical cord ,dirt empting is easy with the push of one button and powerful yet quiet operation.I plan on using this vacuum for years to come.

Strengths: Doesn't loose suction-great attachment for steps

Weakness: A little heavy and remembering to push the button to make the beater bar run

Very pleased with the vacuum and the results show on my carpet. I have a german shepherd that sheds alot and it appears to do a great job even with that dog hair. There was a noticeable difference after the first use.
