Strengths: Ease of use
Weakness: Expensive consumables; quite a bit of space between the vacuum channel and sealer
This is obviously a product that has undergone several generations of improvements. It is well thought-out, and easy to use. The included 'infomercial' DVD is also actually not a complete waste of time to watch. Consumables (bags, rolls, lids etc.) are quite expensive relative to what they are. Strengths: The appliance not only works well but it is also beautifully designed and easy to use. I can highly recommend it.
Weakness: I wish there were more detailed instructions with it how to use it.
I am single and these days you can never get products packaged small enough for just one person. So you are dependent on your freezer to save the portions you do not eat the same day. As a result you need good packaging to prevent the stale taste that you get normally with freezing the left overs.
