Posted Jul 2, 2004 - This toaster replaced an old Sears model which had stopped toasting to give you some idea of what I am comparing it to. We have found this item to do a great job at toasting - both with frozen and fresh bread. It shows you a timer for how long the toast will take depending on your settings and these times can range up to 6 full minutes (4-6 slices, frozen at the darkest setting). As an oven, we have found it more difficult to use. It's great at reheating things but seems too small to really use as a replacement for much of what we do in the regular oven (e.g. see more
