Strengths:  quiet, height adjustable, remote
Weaknesses:  can't turn on with previous fan setting
Review:  nice little fan for the summer. It is very quiet and useful. Some of the drawbacks are: it doesn't retain the fan speed when it was switched off in memory, so it turns on only at the highest speed. Contains an ionizer of dubious value. Also can't retain the setting of ossilate in memory when turned off, so it is pain to set all the settings each time you turn it on.

Strengths:  Power of fan, volume of air moved, quietness of fan motor. Cheaper than air conditioning. Ability to close window in inclement weather.
Weaknesses:  Fan housing subject to occasional vibration. Will not help if the relative humidity is high. A little tough to clean.
Review:  This is a great fan. I have owned 6 over the years and am very happy with them. I am currently buying another as my last one finally has lived its useful life and is ready for recycling. The fan is easy to install and the ability to close the window behind the fan in stormy weather is an absolute plus. The electricity usage is substantially lower than using air conditioning, a nice money saving...

You Can't Go Wrong Picking this One Up
Strengths:  Strong fan, good rotation, nice height, nice looks, fits into tight spaces
Weaknesses:  The plastic base appears kind of cheap.
Review:  I previously owned a small Vornado fan that wasn't strong enough to keep my room cool. This fan is very powerful and provides a nice heavy breeze for a large room and also has two slower speeds. It is the perfect height. It is really good for tight spaces and is also very quiet. I love it.

Strengths:  reasonably priced simple controls easy setup
Weaknesses:  plastic table legs are easy to install but break easily too. no screening - Use in window with a screen to keep out bugs
Review:  Tried this fan out right after delivery. Easy to install in window. Easy to use the controls. Like the thermostat control button. Good air circulation. Only real fault...plastic construction. The plastic handle on top seems rather flimsy as do the plastic 'table'legs. Wouldn't try carrying the fan only by that handle. And one of the 'table' legs broke upon installat...

Review:  It's a great fan for people on a budget. I use it as a window fan, and it's pulling a lot of cool air into the room. The temperature of the room probably drop by at least a couple degree, unlike other, more expensive window fans. Just make sure you remove it from the window when it's raining since this fan is not weather-resistant. Not to mention it's made in the USA.
