5 Star Review Solid Box Fan

Strengths:

Pull a lot of air even on low, quiet, sturdy build, and economical pricing.

Weaknesses:

Has a rubber smell the first time it was used, but probably will go away as it is used a lot more. As with all other box fans, make sure the children don't stick their finger(s) into the holes.

Posted Jun 18, 2007 - It's a great fan for people on a budget. I use it as a window fan, and it's pulling a lot of cool air into the room. The temperature of the room probably drop by at least a couple degree, unlike other, more expensive window fans. Just make sure you remove it from the window when it's raining since this fan is not weather-resistant. Not to mention it's made in the USA.

5 Star Review Awesome Fan

Strengths:

Quiet operation, well built, moves a lot of air, compact design, fits window

Weaknesses:

Fan topples at high speeds if window base is small

Posted 1 year ago - I am using this fan for two purposes: Air in the room, and exhaust in the kitchen. My kitchen does not have an exhaust and the entire house starts smelling of food. This fan is light weight and I can easily move it to the kitchen when cooking. It fits in the window and moves a lot of air even at low speeds, which help me reduce the smell in the room. The fan is very quiet at low speeds and is slightly noisy at highest speed. It runs on 3 different speeds. When using in the room, it works great as well. The only complain I have is that the box topples see more
