Same results as many, but some hope?

Strengths: Great at making drinks/smoothies, dips, salsa.

Weakness: Plastic base gear breaking to easily/quickly.

Same problem as many, the gear in the base that transfers the power to the blade wore down 6 months after purchase. Used only 1-2 time per week at most. There might be hope though. Where are the gaskets?

Strengths: Fruit/ricotta/milk smoothies

Weakness: Gaskets break

Love the bullet, and gave it to everybody in my family last year. BUT the gasket breaks, and I can't find anywhere to buy extras. NOW the M/B comes with extras, but we oldies who bought early ones are stuck with broken gaskets. I can't get a response from the manufacturer as to where/how to get replacements.

Strengths: Fast, easy way to make blended drinks. Easy to clean.

Weakness: Terrible set of cross blades. After two weeks the blades were bent from frozen fruit. We know what we are doing. We used another blender for 27 years without harming the blades.

The Magic Bullet would be a wonderful product and if the company creates a set of strong, sturdy blades it will be worth buying. Wait until they do! Strengths: The speed to mix things smoothly and the convenience.

Weakness: The rubber parts on the bottom of the base wear out

My kids love the bullet. It is very easy for them to use. They are eating more fruit from eating fruit smoothies that they can make themselves. It makes the best chocolate shake. Very smooth. The egg salad comes out good, quick and easy.

broken plastic drive gear

Strengths: I have used it for one year and loved it.

Weakness: Broken plastic gears. Cheap construction.

The plastic gear in the motor unit has broken and I cannot find any replacement parts. I have used the unit for a full year and liked the way it worked, however the plastic gears should last longer than a year or parts should be easily available to purchase for replacement. Customer service is poor. Beware of cheap construction.

Mixed results

Strengths: Smoothies, Liquids

Weakness: Chopping

I usually make a single serving (for just me) of smoothie at a time, so this machine makes that very convenient. I can blend right into the cup, so clean-up is minimal. As for chopping, I found that garlic and onion tended to stick to the sides of the container after it was chopped, so it doesn't come out as easily as it looks on TV.

Disappointed and disillusioned. Where can I find parts? The rubber got distored and cut by the blade. I guess nothing that seems easy and handy is really too good to be true.

Poor Construction

Strengths: Makes the best smoothies.

Weakness: Construction.

There are four rubber stubs on the bottom of the cross and flat blades. These interlock with the base unit which cause the blades to spin. Unfortunately, everytime you use the unit... a little bit of the rubber gets worn down.
