My very first Kitchenaid stand mixer! Love it!
Strengths:
Sturdy due to its weight; sleek industrial look (not the black enamel/plastic cover); easy to attach the beaters & dough hook.
Weaknesses:
Bowl is a little difficult to attach on the mixer.
Posted May 11, 2008 - I was tired of having batter fly everywhere when I use the hand mixer, and finally decided to get this, and am so glad I did. It comes with a pouring shield, wire whip, and burnished flat beater and dough hook - takes no time at all to attach these. I liked that there is a little knob to hold the beaters/whip in place, compared to the other mixers where you had to turn it until you hear a click, and even then you're not entirely sure if it did "lock" in place. I was surprised that the instruction manual contains quite a lot of recipes, and a guide as to what speed see more
