Great little machine for the price
Strengths:
Loads of stitches, easy to use, lots of extras.
Weaknesses:
When filling or re-filling bobbin, winder does not stop on it's own.
Posted Sep 22, 2005 - I've been using mine nearly every day since I got it. Even took it to our local little theater to help sew costumes for the opening season production of "Aida". It's light weight and ease of use made the "drudgery" of carting it around into a big plus and, except for a couple minor glitches which were easily fixed (error message - turned machine off and on to clear), it's been working great. If you're looking for a good machine that's easy and fun to use with plenty of decorative stitches, I highly recommend this machine. I bought mine on Ebay and it was a ref see more

Posted Sep 11, 2005 - I purchased two new in the box machines. Upon turning on the machine, I received F4 message in LCD display and had continual beeping. I E-mailed and telephoned Brothers International and received no support from Brothers International help line or technical support. I was told to bring the machine to the nearest Brother's service center for service.
