This is the best bang for your buck in French Door refrigerators. We bought ours for $1,499 after returning the Electrolux french door frig we paid $2,900 for which wouldn't even make one batch of ice. This is the best bang for your buck in French Door refrigerators. We bought ours for $1,499 after returning the Electrolux french door frig we paid $2,900 for which wouldn't even make one batch of ice. After four hours, our Whirlpool had made it's required four "throwaway" batches to clear the new water lines and we haven't been without ice since...and our family uses loads of ice. There's lots of room for food, a great deli bin, two veggie bins with humidity controls which glide out easily, deep and sturdy door bins, great lighting and I love the freezer in the bottom. It only makes sense, since cold air falls, the freezer should be in the bottom. We did tons of research and wanted this frig, but a salesman talked us into the Electrolux...big mistake. We returned it and got the one we wanted. Don't be diverted. Check out the reviews on this frig against the reviews of other brands. People love this frig. We do, too.
