Weber Genesis S-330 Grill

Great grill

Strengths: EVERY THING

Weakness: NONE

So far we have cooked chicken, steaks, shrimp, burgers and vegies and it has been great.I am not a huge fan of gas grills but this is a great one. The stainless steal cleans wonderful and I have been able to direct cook chicken with out flare ups.If you purchase this grill you will not be disappointed.Oops did I say the other brand........

My july 4 WITH A WEBER GRILL

Strengths: I could not start up grill after installing a new tank NONE

Weakness: WOULD NOT LIGHT UP

GRILL WOULD NOT FIRE UP NEEDES A NEW REGULATOR NO ONE IN THE HOUSE CAN INSTALL UNIT IS 3DAYS OLD

Can I return it?

Strengths: Heavy, good drainage

Weakness: Dirty, uneven heat, sucks propane, drips grease onto deck, poor customer service

I've owned this grill for a year now. I grill throughout the Winter, regardless of temperature and I put a bbq through its paces during the Summers. I own a 13 year old Envirogrill that I has been wonderful. It is long in the tooth now but still grills better than this Weber. I also grill with a Big Green Egg.My experience with the Weber is this. Grease forms in the hood and drips down the back legs onto my newly finished deck. I called Weber and was told to heat the grill above 500 degrees before and after each grill. That made no difference at all. I'm constantly having to wipe this grill out to avoid getting the grease onto my deck. I believe design is a big part of the problem. I even purchased a large Weber Q to see if it was suitable for my upper deck but it too was crap.Another concern for me is uneven cooking. The right burner is far hotter than the others. Closer to the tank perhaps but given the price of this grill, I expected far more. It was also my first attempt with SS rod grills. I don't like them and prefer cast. Just a nice cook when they are hot and I believe using cast reduces propane usage.I contacted Weber this Spring via their website contact form. I did receive a response but now seem to have been blacklisted and block from responding to their email to me. My calls aren't accepted either.I am currently researching and hope to find a replacement for the S-330. It is difficult to get quality in a big box store and most local store never carry a product that costs more than a few hundred dollars. It is a throw away society after all. One thing I will say is that be careful of the Chinese SS you see in stores. It is 200 series SS. I note that grill companies are undermining their own brand name by building cheap products for the likes of Cdn Tire, Walmart, and even HD. Makes me sick.
