A must have for your recirculating microhood
Absorbs odors, exact fit for GE Microhoods that use it, well-built, easy to replace the inner carbon filter in the future to save some money.

Posted May 18, 2007 - This filter is optional, but, in my opinion, absolutely necessary if you are recirculating the output of your microhood into your kitchen. Why? Because the filters the microhood comes with only filter grease, but all the odors, vapors, smoke, etc. of what you're preparing DO NOT get filtered and just recirculate in your kitchen. Pop-in one of these filters, and because of the activated-carbon inside, they do a great job of filtering some of those odors before sending the recirculated air back in your kitchen.
