This is an user coming from Jack Lelane's Juicer. The two machines are built on similar deisgn. However, I gotta say Breville had better design/construction overall.

Sound: Strong motor wrings out more juice, but produces more vibration as the draining mesh is loaded with fruit fiber, and that gives it slightly more humming; the humming is very low pitched so it is not loud and annoying . The noise level and quality is better than Jack Lelanne's rattling and high pitch as jack lelanne's rattles and pops when fruit bits hit the juicer interior and the motor is higher pitched.

Components: The guided spout directs the juice into the pitcher unlike my earlier model which splashes out a bit. the cleaning is easy and I like how you can see the pulp makes no blind spot the ringed plug and the included brush is very convenient and efficient to operate.

suggested improvements:
add retractable spool for cord; make the frame for the draining wire not overlap where make it hard to brush out the fine pulp from the draining mesh cup.

great compact juicer

Strengths: powerful,good price,easy to clean

Weakness: little loud

This is our first juicer. I have to say it is much better than I expected. It is very powerful. We can use it to make carrot juice easily and quickly. The pulp left is very dry which makes it very easy to clean. Every parts (except the base) in the juicer is dish washer safe. Over all it is a great juicer for a small family.

Awesome Juicer

Strengths: Very powerful, numerous features

Weakness: Somewhat loud, kind of hard to clean

This is a slick-looking, very well-functioning juicer. Bought it as an alternative to less powerful as seen on TV juicers. We're very pleased with the Breville Compact Juicer.
