Description:
Protect your home with Kidde FA110 Multi Purpose Fire Extinguisher 1A10BC. They recommend at least one fire extinguisher for every 600 square feet of living space. This fire extinguisher contains monoammonium phosphate, a dry chemical extinguishing agent that is nontoxic, inhibits re-flashing of the fire, costs less and is more effective than carbon dioxide, and is not easily dispersed by air currents. Note: Not recommended on computers or similar equipment. Easy to use on a fire: just remember the P-A-S-S method. Pull the pin on the fire extinguisher, Aim the fire extinguisher at the base of the fire (stand 6 feet from the fire), Squeeze the handle of the extinguisher, and Sweep the extinguisher left to right while aiming at the base of the fire.

Put out our grill fire fast
We had a grease fire in our grill the other night, very scary on a wood deck. I grabbed this product and the fire was out in 3 sweeps. Excellent results!

replaced identical 20+yo unit
I purchased 2 to replace units that lost pressure after 20+ years. I never fired them at a a fire. I was surprised to find the dry chemical in the bad units was still loose and dry, so had the seals not failed, allowing pressure release, they would have worked. I was good about inspecting the extinguishers and shaking loose the power every year. Hopefully it will never be used and will hang on...

I, fortunately, have not had to use this fire extinguisher!
Looks good. Hope it does the trick if needed! Kidde is a good name.
