Description
The JGB918BEKBB Freestanding Double Oven Gas Range features a convection oven that circulates air throughout the oven cavity to ensure better baking and roasting results. The interior is self-cleaning, eliminating the need for manual scrubbing and harsh chemical cleansers. The lower oven offers an additional cubic foot of capacity for your convenience, with a temperature range of 150 to 450 degrees. Its shape makes it perfect for accommodating casseroles and baking sheets. The center oval burner adds a fifth element to the center of the cooktop, making it ideal for use with the included non-stick griddle or odd-size cookware. The precise simmer burner delivers a low setting of 140 degrees, which is great when working with delicate foods, sauces, or when melting chocolate. In contrast, the PowerBoil? 17,000 BTU Burner delivers 17,000 BTUs of forceful heat for rapid boiling. This range is an incredible choice for anyone who values the performance and appearance of their cooking appliances.

Strengths: Convection and bottom warming oven.
Weakness: Very slippery stovetop grates. No broiler pan.
The stovetop grates are slippery and pots can easliy slide. Also, GE decided 2 months ago to discontinue supplying a broiler pan and one must be ordered separately.
