Strengths:  Auto starts at set time. Stores more than one pot of beans in grinder. Variable grind setting
Weaknesses:  Messier than Capresso unit. They count a "cup" as 5 ounces.
Review:  This is head and shoulders above the Cuisinart unit. Don't even look twice at that one. This Krups unit is very similar to the Capresso unit (which I prefer). Good, but has annoyances
Strengths:  Fast, brews good coffee, thermal carafe.
Weaknesses:  Difficult to program, constantly gets air bubbles in the sight glass tube.
Review:  I replaced a 15 year old Krups with this model about a year ago just for the Stainless Steel look. This new model stills makes coffee as good as my old model, but the constant air bubbles in the sight glass (clear them out, within 3 days they're back) renders it nearly worthless.
