Posted Mar 15, 2006 - I'm very hard on coffee makers & have had many brands. None have really lasted or worked well after 1 yr. This time I decided to spend the extra cash & buy a good one. Searched them all & kept coming back to the Krups. I like the features. Unit is quite & user friendly. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee warm for well over an hour. I've only had it for 1 wk. but have worked it hard to check its performance. Runs nice no problems. I'm very pleased with the purchase.
Good Coffee MakerThe coffee DOES stay VERY hot for a long time. I'm impressed with the quality of construction & design.
I would like the clock display better if it illuminated all of the time instead of when you're programming it or for the short time it is brewing.
Posted Apr 2, 2008 - I've been very happy with the service of the vendors at Pricegrabber.com. The coffee pot is exactly as described & I am happy with it. It brews excellent coffee & has it's own water filtration/cleaning system. The pot is REALLY simple to figure out & brew. It is weighted well & feels good in your hand. The outside of the pot does not get hot & burn you when it has freshly brewed coffee in it - which is good when you have children in the household. For the price, it is right on.
