A completely new construction technique provides the Rowenta Microsteam soleplate with the best ever steam and heat distribution for the most effective ironing. More than 400 microsteam holes ensure even and optimal steam distribution from tip of the soleplate to the rounded rear for fast, expert results with ease. The high quality stainless steel soleplate is attached to the heavy aluminum core in a unique way that provides an ultra smooth surface with a thin edge that can iron up to buttons, seams and delicate fabrics without snagging. Maintaining the correct temperature is key to good ironing performance and garment care. The DZ5080 has an electronic temperature control that combines sensitive electronic sensors and controls with LED lights in an easy-to use-system. Steam Advance system, the key to easier ironing. Delicate steam is used for delicate fabrics that require gentle care. High pressure steam for thicker fabrics and tough wrinkles. Steam is created under pressure ensures a deep penetration into the fabric to relax the fibers and let wrinkles be pressed out in ease. An automatic pause between bursts of steam allows the heat of the iron to remove the remaining steam and set the press. The high precision tip allows for easy ironing in all tough to reach areas; seams, collars, pockets, and around buttons. Comes with a 1 year warranty.

Powerful Iron
Strengths: Lots of steam, well designed and manufactured.
Weakness: water tank too small
The iron has 400 steam vents, and easily smooth out the worst wrinkle. The crease also stays much longer. Plenty of steam, but you have to fill the tank often. A full tank of water is good for about 4 shirts. Also, according to the manual, the indicate light has three colors, red for over temp, green for right temp, and yellow for under temp. However, I only see the yellow light, but not the red...

This iron is much better than my old iron. It has a very comfortable handle. The precisio tip makes it very easy to control. Unlike most other iron this is made in Germany.

Rowenta is a well known brand, that actually introduced first electric iron. Most of them made in Germany(not in China) including DZ5080.This iron is amazing, it has automatic off switch, electronic temperature control, it can be used in an upright position that is very convenient. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase

It is the best Iron I have ever used. Steam is very effective with huge number of holes on the sole plate. Quality of the Ironing clothes is perfect. Made in Germany is a solid reason to trust this product. I would highly recommend this iron.
