Description
The Rowenta Effective Cord Reel Iron is one of the most versatile lightweight irons on the market and its automatic cord reel provides more convenience as cord length can be adjusted as needed. Its Airglide stainless steel soleplate has an advanced design that glides effortlessly, heats quickly and evenly and will get out any wrinkle. With 1600 watts of power, the iron has both vertical and variable steam capability, allowing for maximum flexibility and the ability to iron anything from hanging drapes to wool and silk, and its extra-large water tank means that you will need fewer refills. The 3-way Smart Auto-off system turns the iron off in 8-minutes if left vertically and 30 seconds if left horizontally or vertically, for the ultimate in safety.
Quick Glance
Iron Type: garment steamer
Strengths: Clothes look like they have been ironed well. Ironing is not my favorite task, but this iron made the job easier.
Weakness: After about 2 weeks, the iron started leaking. A lot. Around the bottom and the area where the retractable plug is located.
I could not find a lot of information about the Rowenta irons. I read an article in a magazine and this iron was recommended. I did like the ease of use, but I definitely did not like the leaking part. I remember reading one article that mentioned how Rowenta irons leak, but I had to see for myself.
Strengths: Steams better than most
Weakness: none
love this iron for the price. I've had many irons and has paid much to four times as much as I paid for this one. For the price, this is the best. It outperformed 95% of the irons I've owned.
