Black & Decker Black and Decker D2030 Auto-Off Iron

A winner!

Strengths: Heats up very fast, easy to use controls.

Weakness: Haven't found any. I like the weight---neither too heavy nor too light for my purposes.

I bought this iron almost a year ago, based on Consumer Reports and the reviews I read online. I don't usually come back a year later and write reviews, but this one is worth taking the time for. I don't use an iron on a daily basis, but this one is a pleasure to use. Actually makes ironing halfway enjoyable. Stongly recommend.

This Iron is magical.Removes wrinkles in one time,So It saves time.It has powerful Steam bursts.Don't need to fill water again and again. Highly recommend this product.

Black and Decker D2030 Steam Iron

Strengths: Steam feature is awesome. Digital display very useful.

Weakness: None

I had a high end Rowina iron, which never came close to the performance of this model. My ironing time was cut in half, and with the the superb steam feature, I don't even need to use spray starch.

Worth the money!!!!!!!

Great upgrade and worth the extra money vs. conventional low price irons. The Black & Decker D2030 heats up fast and will turn off automatically if you forget to. Overal we are very pleased with this iron.

Buying this iron is a good decision

Strengths: Heats up quickly, uses tap water for most areas of the country, tells you when it needs to be cleaned, comfortable handle even for left-handed people, longer cord than my old iron (10+ feet)

Weakness: Heavier than my old iron, but not much more.

I had used a Tefal iron for 10 years and then it finally wouldn't heat up. After such positive reviews on this iron I made the purchase. I am very pleased with its performance. great iron

Strengths: heats up fast, heavy, good steam power

Weakness: heavy

This is a great iron. I was using a T-fal and this iron blows it away. This iron is heavy which to me is a good thing, but to same it may not be. I figure the heavier, the more weight on the fabric which helps iron it (think old school black iron). This iron heats up fast and works VERY well.

Best Iron Yet

Strengths: No leaking from the plate; light weight; irons easy. Auto-Off a great feature!!

Weakness: None that I've found.

Excellent product. I searched Consumer Reports with other brands in mind... was sold on the B&D D2030 because of Consumer Reports ratings and others' comments. Very pleased with my purchase!

I Love This Iron!!!

Strengths: Excellent steam with variable output. Smooth soleplate. Easy to fill with water, no spillage, no spatters.

Weakness: A little heavier than other irons, but I am getting used to it, and it really helps put extra pressure on the garment.

Upgrade your iron with the Black and Decker D2030

Strengths: Digital displays and Steam features

Weakness: Slightly heavy

Most impressive about the B&D D2030 Steam Iron are the steam features which include Variable Steam Control, Vertical Steaming and Steam bursts. Other features which I liked are the Digital Temperature Displays, auto-off and auto-cleaning. Altogether, it is a big step up from the B&D F495SA Steam Iron which I had used for many years.
