Strengths: I have arthritis and this little bundle is just great. I don't need to hurt myself like I do with others.GREAT!
Weakness: None
I was a little unsure about this little machine, but it is something else. Hope to see more friendly products like the Gizmo.I will recommend the little wizard to everyone I know.
Strengths: Have had NO problems with any size cans and power has been consistant if left on charge. With directions- easy sizing mounts. Cleans-up nice. Takes little space.
Weakness: Takes time getting used to- HOW TO put on cans. A little large for smaller hands.
I would recommend this product to friends and family. The Gizmo is easy to set up and easy to use. However, I would caution for people with smaller hands and how to set up on cans. It took me and my mother quite some time to get used to attaching it properly, she still has some problems. But I love mine so far!
Strengths: none
Weakness: not effective
I purchased this item, everytime that I have gone to use it, I have gotten out an old hand can opener. I just tried to use again. Flustration is the word!!!! That is the only reason that I signed up to use this site. To vent flustration. Spent 5 minutes trying to open one can. Gave up like always, wish never bought the thing. And got out the old trusty hand opener and opened three more cans in...
This thing works great! After five years, the power is not as good as it use to be, so my Dad wants a new one. But, he wants the same exact thing...
Strengths: Compact size, cordless
Weakness: Need to keep it charged
I've always used a manual can opener for myself but I saw the gizmo on sale and bought it just to try it out. It's not as easy to use as my mom's kitchen counter eletric can opener but it's more compact and it's cordless. I like the design and once you get used to it, it's not that bad.

Gizmo
Strengths: fast, easy, handsfree
Weakness: none
As soon as you get the hang of the Gizmo, it's great to have. It didn't take my family or me long at all to get used to it. My grandma has very bad arthritis in her hands and she uses in all the time. I am on this site because I am buying one for my step mom.
