Easy to keep clean. Fairly quiet operation. Any size can can be opened. Doesn't become another appliance on countertop to keep clean. Lid never got stuck in mechanism.
The cutting mechanism lever is plastic and this is what broke on both that I had. Leaves sharp edges on can lid once removed.
Posted Mar 28, 2007 - I really like this can opener. I am now searching for a new can opener and will probably buy this model again because it is so easy to keep clean. Sits in a recharger. Cutting mechanism comes off easily for cleaning, however, the plastic leaver should be made of heavier plastic.

Handy, Easy to use, Easy to clean

Posted 1 year ago - I have had my Ergo for I think about 7 years now. The rechargeble battery has finally come to it charging end. I have been searching in all the stores in my area for another one because I want to replace it. I do not want any other can opener. This is the best I've ever had. I went on B&D's website and was so happy to find out that they do still make them. But I just can't find a store that stocks and sells them. I can buy it on line directly from B&D and other places also but I was just trying to defer shipping charges. If I can't find it in the stores, I will or see more
