Highly recommended. Great blender for the price. A great deal! This is comparable to the $150 blenders, but a lot cheaper. Would be the perfect gift!

The shape of the blender makes it really easy to load and to pour. It is also very easy to clean. There are a number of different settings to choose from depending on what you are blending. There are much more expensive blenders that don't do the job nearly as well. It is a little loud, but not a real problem.

Weakness: Maybe a little noisy but easily overlooked.

Very easy to use, instructions are very clear with good hints for easy operation. Like the fact that everything including the cutters are dishwasher safe. Purees things my old blender would choke on. Strengths: Heavy duty glass jar, quiet, nice big knob for turning on, only 5 speeds, good sealing top, cannot turn on unless the jar is on the base.

Weakness: None

I bought this blender because it was a highly rated best buy from a consumer magazine. This is a great blender with nice simple controls and 5 speeds. I could never understand why they made blenders with 12 speeds or more, who needs that many speeds. This blender is built well, quiet, and powerful. It is a great buy for the money.

Strengths: This blender is a great value for your money. Produces uniformly smooth shakes, with no lumps of unblended powder or pieces of uncrushed ice. The blades circulate mixture quickly and thoroughly.

Weakness: The lid has a removable center part for adding items while blending. Even when this piece is fully closed and in place, there are openings at the edges which allow for leakage.

This blender pours perfectly and cleans beautifully. The lid is also well designed, sealing easily and snugly, with tiny rubber tips attached on three sides to facilitate a smooth release and opening. Strengths: Lots of power - able to mix ingredients without them getting stuck to the side of the jug

Weakness: Can throw contents up into the lid and all up the side of the jug when starting to blend, especially if ingredients are all liquid.

I like this blender. It has plenty of power to make smoothies (which is my main usage), even on the lowest setting.
