Strengths:  Cools down
Weaknesses:  Not as quiet as advertised and perhaps too awkward for a small room.

The exhaust tube is 5 ft. as advertised, but they recommend that you use the smallest amount of tube possible and that you have no kinks in the vent. efficient but need some installation work
Strengths:  It works great overall with heat and AC. I haven't tried Dehuminifier yet. You can adjust on different speed.
Weaknesses:  It takes a lot of space near your window. There must be some work done for installation making a hole for the hot air to come out (for AC function) ...
Review:  In general, I am very happy to have this in my attic. I don't use it alot ... probably a few weeks in the summer and a few days in winter ... but in hot days and cold days, they are awesome.

Strengths:  Power 3 spd blower, digital features, ease of mobility, cinch to install, nice & cool air
Weaknesses:  On HI spd, it can get loud but to me, is alot less loud then my old window a/c on the same speed.
Review:  I believe this model is new for 2006. We just had a horrible heat spell of triple digit temps for 5 straight days. All the surrounding stores were out of stock of fans & a/c's, it was just pandemonium. I got online and found this a/c and it seems Sunpentown has a pretty good reputation for their portable a/c's, so I thought I'd order one and try it. I ordered from Kingerson...
